Kimchi Fried Rice

A South Korean-inspired recipe that brings together Kimchi (fermented, spicy cabbage), and rice with the option to add vegetables and meat if desired.

Instruction

Cut the scallion into pieces, add to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 seconds using the Turbo button.

Cut bacon into pieces and add it with oil to the mixing bowl. Cook for 4 minutes / 130°C (265°F) / speed 1.

Add the Kimchi and oil into the mixing bowl and cook for 3 minutes / 100°C (212°F) / speed 1.

Add cooked rice to the mixing bowl and sauté the rice together with the kimchi scallion mixture for 2 minutes / 75°C (170°F) / speed 1 / reverse.

Add sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the mixing bowl and cook for 2 minutes / 75°C (170°F) / speed 1 / reverse.

Add sesame seeds and seaweed on the top of the rice for decoration.

Recipe notes

Tips & Tricks This is a perfect recipe for leftover rice. Top the rice with a fried egg for a heartier meal.
